Many enter a DevOps project with the hope of seeing velocity increase over time, fulfilling the legendary promise of Scrum. The reality is often quite different because operating a system in production brings its share of surprises, and if you add technical debt with a few years of useful life, then you can easily end up in a perfect storm. Let’s see together these elements that affect our precious velocity and the solutions that could bring us back on the right tracks.
